As has been previously mentioned, the Casa Fernández booth was a bit all over the place with both Foundation Cigar Co. and Illusione also in the booth. That being said, all three companies seemed fairly busy despite the diversity in product offerings. What all three have in common is AGANORSA and to a lesser extent the Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) factory. The brands are produced using AGANORSA tobacco and at the company’s affiliated factories, largely TABSA in Estelí, although in the case of some Casa Fernández brands, at the Casa Fernández Miami factory. Casa Fernández Aniversario 2015 One of those brands produced in Miami is the Aniversario line from Casa Fernández. This year, the company introduced two different sizes of the limited line: Voleur (7 1/2 x 40, box-pressed) and L.F. Celine (6 x 56). When I caught up with Paul Palmer he told me they had already vastly oversold the box-pressed lancero and as such, production would be greatly increasing beyond the 300 16-count boxes originally planned. As for the larger L.F. Celine its 10,000 cigar run was almost sold out according to Palmer. Both cigars are Nicaraguan puros using a five-year-old corojo 99 wrapper from Jalapa. ...
