Following up on last year’s Chapter One, La Flor Dominicana will be unveiling Capitulo II at the 2014 IPCPR Convention and Trade Show that kicks off on July 19. Capitulo II, which is Spanish for chapter two, is a 6 1/2 x 58 box-pressed chisel that uses a Nicaraguan colorado wrapper on top of an Ecuadorian habano binder and filler of Dominican tobacco. It will come in ten-count boxes with an MSRP of $10.70 per cigar and $107.00 per box and like its predecessor is a limited edition, though production limits have not been announced. The LFD Chapter One was limited to 100,000 cigars split into 10,000 ten-count boxes. The La Flor Dominicana Chapter One was released at last year’s trade show, and was the first cigar blended by Antonio Gomez, the son of Litto Gomez. Details about who created the blend for Capitulo II have not been disclosed yet, nor has a shipping date been announced yet. Update (July 16, 2014)–Added a new picture and clarified the binder and filler after La Flor Dominicana sent out a press release about the Capitulo II.
