262 Cigars Announces Allegiance Corona, Makes All Sizes Regular Production

262 Cigars announced on Tuesday that it will be adding a 5 1/2 x 44 corona vitola to its most recent line, Allegiance. Additionally, the Allegiance line, which features a 5 x 54 robusto and 6 x 54 box-pressed toro, will shift to regular production. In a press release, the company said that “after careful thought and deliberation, 262 Cigars has decided to make their newest cigar, Allegiance, a full production cigar.” Clint Aaron, owner of 262 Cigars, added that while Allegiance was originally destined to be a seasonal blend, it was met with such an enthusiastic response that the decision was made to make it regular production. In addition, the box format of the 262 Allegiance will be changing from 10-count to 20-count for all three sizes. Pricing will stay the same for the robusto ($7.50) and toro ($8.50), while the corona will be priced at $7.00 per cigar. The 262 Allegiance is billed as a mild-medium cigar and uses a Brazilian Mata-Fina wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and fillers from both Nicaragua and Honduras.
