The 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show saw PDR Cigars release not only a brand new line, but the company also added vitolas to two other releases as well as a new blend on another brand. In addition, PDR Cigars was showing off new porcelain jars for both its Connecticut Valley Reserve Maduro and Connecticut Valley Reserve Azul lines, which will be sold in conjunction with the already existing 15-count boxes. PDR El Trovador First, the new line. Named El Toreador, which translates to troubadour, it is made up of an Ecuadorian rosado wrapper covering a double Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua. Sold in boxes of 24, the regular production release line is available in four different vitolas and ships this month.
