Building on last year’s release of the Heritage Collection, Gurkha will be unveiling a maduro version at the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show that kicks off on July 25. For the Heritage Collection Maduro, the company is using a Mexican San Andrés wrapper with a Brazilian Arapiraca binder and fillers from Brazil and Nicaragua. It will come in three sizes, a Robusto (5 x 55, $7.99), Toro (6 1/2 x 52, $8.99) and a new Robusto Corto, which measures 4 1/2 x 48 and is priced at just $5, which is also being added to the original Heritage line. American Caribbean Tobacco S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua is once again handling the production, with all three sizes packaged in 24-count boxes, a departure from the 35-count boxes that the Heritage Collection debuted in. Both versions now come in the smaller format.
