Moscato Cigars has a new regular production cigar scheduled to arrive at retail following this summer’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, the Moscato Fortissimo. It’s a 6 3/4 x 50 toro that uses a Costa Rican habano maduro wrapper and Nicaraguan habano binder, with Panamanian habano viso and Honduran habano for the filler to create a full-bodied profile. Like the company’s other cigars, the Fortissimo undergoes an infusion with aromatics from Moscato wine. The Moscato Fortissimo is being offered in both 10-cound bundles and 21-count boxes. The cigars are made at Tabacos de Oriente in Honduras. Shipping to retailers is scheduled to begin immediately after the trade show’s conclusion on July 28. The company has been teasing the cigar’s release for several weeks, showing it off via its Instagram account and bringing it to this year’s C.A.T.S. Fest held in San Antonio, Texas in late May.
