At the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Serino Cigar Co.—a new company owned by the same group behind APS Distributors, LLC—will launch four new lines under the Serino Royale 20th Anniversary name. All four blends are produced by Omar González Alemán’s La Corona Factory, best known for producing the HR Habano line for Hirochi Robaina. The Connecticut line uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. It’s offered in four sizes: Gordo (6 x 60), Toro (6 x 52), Torpedo (6 1/8 x 52) and Churchill (7 x 50). All four blends use a Nicaraguan and binder and fillers including tobacco from Estelí and Jalapa. The next strongest line is Medio, which uses an Ecuadorian habano clara wrapper. It will come in four sizes: Robusto Gordo (5 1/2 x 60), Belicoso (5 1/2 x 60), Petite Sublime (5 3/4 x 54) and Toro (6 x 52). There are also four sizes of Habano Maduro and Habano Maduro XX. The Habano Maduro is wrapped an Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper and comes in the same four sizes as Medio: Robusto Gordo (5 1/2 x 60), Belicoso (5 1/2 x 60), Petite Sublime (5 3/4 x 54) and Toro (6 x 52).
