Tomorrow, Fred Rewey will begin shipping his newest release. Last month, he teased a new regular production release known as SA-17. At the time, he said he hoped to have the new line on the market by June, which will happen a bit early. The SA part of the name stands for San Andrés, the Mexican wrapper that adorns the Nicaraguan binder and filler. It’s offered in four sizes—Coronita (5 1/2 x 46), Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 50) and Shorty (4 x 56). Pricing is set between $8.50-9.75 and all sizes comes in boxes of 21. It is being produced at Tabacalera Fernandez S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua. Nomad is distributed by Boutique United.
