LUJ Closes Out 2015 with Limited Edition Oyin

LUJ Premium Cigars is closing out 2015 with a limited edition release, as the company has shipped its latest cigar, called Oyin, to retailers in recent weeks. Breaking from its usual shroud of secrecy, LUJ has decided to disclose some specifics about the blend of this cigar. Oyin, which is named for company founder Luj Oluyeba’s daughter and means honey in the Yoruba language of southwestern and north central Nigeria, uses a Dominican wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. The blend is said to have a hint of raw honey that stands out amongst its other notes. While the blend is being disclosed a bit more than normal, the company still isn’t disclosing the factory making the cigar, other than to say it is Tamboril, Dominican Republic, with a spokesperson telling halfwheel that they want the cigars to speak for themselves, not based on the reputation of the factory. The Luj Oyin LE 2015 measures 5 1/2 x 50 and comes with an MSRP of $12 per stick, with each box containing 20 cigars.
