There’s more Larceny coming. A few weeks ago, Sean Williams of El Primer Mundo—and one of the three people behind the Larceny project—tweeted a picture of the blend in a lancero size. Williams told halfwheel that the 7 x 38 version of the Larceny is planned for October. Like the original release, a 6 1/2 x 52 toro, it would be sold in boxes of 20 with 10 cigars using an Ecuadorian oscuro wrapper and 10 cigars using a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. The filler blend is entirely Nicaraguan. The cigars are made at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona Cigar Factory. The first Larceny was billed as a collaboration between Williams and Eddie Ortega of Ortega Premium Cigars. Earlier this month, Ortega shifted distribution of his brands to Quality Importers. The original concept saw Ortega make a cigar that he thought Williams would like, and Williams do the opposite, hence the two wrappers. In June, Ortega and Williams released Miami Stash, a limited release out of El Titan de Bronze. Pricing is expected to be around $9 per cigar and the cigar will be limited to 400 boxes.
