This year at Córdoba & Morales they had all of their previous lineup with two new offerings. The first new offering is an old blend with a new size. The Clave Cubana comes back this year in a 7 1/2 x 38 lancero. Wrapped with a Criollo ‘98 and featuring Nicaraguan binder and filler, the lancero will come in a 20 count box with an MSRP of $11.20. The second new cigar is the Platino, a 6 1/2 x 54 double figurado. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Rosado while the tips of the figurado are Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro. Inside there is a Habano Nicaraguan binder, Nicaraguan and Dominican Republic filler. This will be a limited production cigar, as it’s rolled at a small factory in Tampa called Tampa Tobacco Company. With only one roller working on the cigar it will be limited to around 600 boxes of 18 cigar a year. Both new cigars are set to ship immediately after the show.
