If you’ve ever been to the Nat Sherman Townhouse in Manhattan and used the square pewter ashtrays, you’ll be familiar with the company’s newest accessory line. At this year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Nat Sherman will show off its Executive Ashtrays, which feature the same grid design, measuring 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. The ashtrays feature a criss-cross pattern drilled out to a low multiple cigars to rest at once and 16 holes that allow for ash to fall into removable tray. The Nat Sherman Executive Ashtray will retail for $159.95 and is offered in burl, Macassar, mahogany, maple, red and white finishes. In addition, the company is introducing a matching line of humidors. The Nat Sherman Executive Humidor measure 10 x 15 x 6 inches with an interior of 8 1/2 x 13 1/2 x inches. Rather than using Spanish cedar, the company is using okoumé wood and lining the interior with lucite. The idea is to create a low maintenance solution, so forgoing Spanish cedar, which absorbs moisture, should allow for much quicker and more stable humidity levels when used with an active humidification system.
