At last year’s trade show, if you asked Chris Arolfo about any new product, he might have told you about the Cabal Linda Petit Lancero, a limited edition petit lancero that he was making in honor of his late mother. While the Cabal Linda has been released at two events, at this year’s trade show, the cigar will be available for all retailers to begin purchasing the cigar. The Linda measures 6 x 40 and uses a Brazilian cubra wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Peru. It is made at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic. The cigar is limited to 500 boxes of 14 cigars with pricing set at $14 per cigar. Linda Arolfo was born on Jan. 14, 1956 and died on Jan. 14, 2013 after a battle with a rare brain disorder called frontotemporal dementia, or FTD. Proceeds from the cigar will be donated towards research on FTD.
