On Friday, XIKAR will begin shipping an updated versions of its Ultra lighter, the Ultra Mag. The new lighter features a variety of updates including a new thumb action grip, a new ignition cover, added fuel vents and a larger fuel wheel. XIKAR also says that the fuel window is now easier to view. The Ultra Mag is made to be paired with the Ultra Slim cutter, which it connects to magnetically. The cutter is now available in Silver, G2 and a new rough black finish. Suggested pricing remains $54.99 for the lighter or $99.99 for the combination lighter and cutter. XIKAR will begin shipping the new lighter on May 1 alongside the newly-redesigned XIKAR Allume.
