Mombacho Cigars S.A. has announced Shahriar “Shar” Broumand as the company’s new president. The move was effective April 1. Broumand’s cigar experience has been as a partner in En Fuego Cigars & Lounge in Las Vegas, Nev. His LinkedIn page indicates that he was most recently sip of global sales mangled series at Venty, a company that specializes in enterprise technology. HIs previous experience also includes working for the Royal Bank of Scotland as well as founding BrainNet, Inc., which was eventually sold to KPMG. “I am excited to be joining Mombacho to lead such a dedicated and passionate team,” said Broumand, in a press release. “Since 2006 Mombacho has established itself as one of the world’s great cigar brands and with the recent opening of their world-class factory in Granada they are positioned for future growth in an ever-changing cigar industry.
