The Perdomo booth looked much the same as it has in recent years, but inside the long space the company introduced a new line as well as a number of new sizes and packaging options to its existing catalog. The Double Aged 12 Year Vintage was the headliner of the booth, a release that has been on people’s radars since being announced in early June. There will be three wrappers in the line: Sun Grown, Connecticut and Maduro, with the same four sizes being made in each version, for a total of 12 new facings. The announced sizes are a 5 x 56 robusto ($10), 6 x 56 epicure ($10.50), 7 x 56 churchill ($11) and 6 1/2 x 60 gordo extra ($11.50). The company’s 20th Anniversary has added a pyramid vitola that mesaures 6 1/2 inches long with a tapered ring gauge that starts at a 60 at the foot and finishes in a 50 ring gauge at the head of the cigar. Both maduro and sun grown versions are getting the size, with an MSRP of $10 and in 24-count boxes.
