Rocky Patel Premium Cigars has begun to let the word out about its new lines that will be released at IPCPR, and the first one promised to deliver a unique flavor experience to even the most discerning palate. The Rocky Patel Super Ligero uses a hybrid seed that the company said took years to develop. The cigars uses a St. Augustine habano wrapper, a habano binder, and a filler blend of Nicaraguan and Costa Rican triple ligero. The company says the blend is both robust and full bodied, startsing off with a blast of intense flavor dominated by a sweet woody flavor. As the cigar progresses, there is a lingering spice as well as loads of bold flavors such as cinnamon and white pepper. The finish is said to be full and offering a sweet aftertaste. It will be available in four sizes: a 5 x 50 robusto, 6 1 /2 x 52 toro, a 6 x 60 and a 7 1/2 x 38 lancero. Retail prices are expected to be between $7 and $8 per cigar.
