The Padrón 1964 TAA Exclusive Belicoso has started to show up at retail shops, as several stores have begun posting news of its arrival on their social media accounts and websites. News of the cigar came out in March, shortly after the group’s annual meeting which happened March 23-27 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In recent years the gathering has featured the release of an increasing number of limited edition cigars made just for the group, sometimes unique blends while in other cases such as this, unique sizes of an existing blend. A representative from Padrón did not immediately reply to a request for the production numbers on the Padrón 1964 TAA Exclusive Belicoso. It is a limited, one-time run according to several retailers who attended the TAA meeting. The cigars, which measure 5 x 52, are priced at $15 and $375 for a box of 25, before taxes. Several other manufacturers have created TAA exclusives this year, including the La Flor Dominicana 707, My Father 2014 TAA Exclusive, H. Upmann Bank Note, Tatuaje 2014 TAA, AVO 2nd Movement and The Angel’s Anvil from Crowned Heads. 2014 also marks also Padrón’s 50th anniversary.
