General Cigar Company has formally announced a new release from the Dunhill brand called 1907 by Dunhill, the first new regular production line in the Dunhill brand since the Signed Range was introduced in 2001. 1907 by Dunhill is made with a proprietary blend of Dominican ligeros and Brazilian Mata Fina, bound with a Dominican Olor binder and wrapped in a Honduran Olancho leaf. General Cigar Co. says the new Dunhill expression delivers “complex flavor with nuances of spice, and a rich, creamy finish.” Four sizes will be released as part of the debut of the 1907 by Dunhill: Rothschild (4.5” x 48; SRP per cigar $8.25); Robusto (5” x 52; SRP per cigar $8.50); Churchill (7” x 49, SRP per cigar $9.25) and the box-pressed Toro (6” x 54, SRP per cigar $9.00). Each size is packaged in an 18-count wooden box with a sliding lid. The new line is expected at retail in May.
