The newest size of The Griffin’s will be the 5 3/8 x 52 Gran Robusto in The Griffin’s Classic line. According to a German press release, the cigar will begin shipping in May with a MSRP of 12.50 Swiss Francs, $14.15 USD, although pricing in the U.S. could be lower due to taxes. Dylan Austin, who represents the brand in the U.S., confirmed that the cigar would be released shortly. It will be offered in boxes of 25 as well as four-packs. It will be the twelfth size in the line, falling between the Toro (6 1/4 x 52), which actually features a rounded cap, and the Robusto (5 x 50). The Griffin’s Classic uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut, a Dominican pelo de oro seco binder and San Vicente seco, piloto and olor fillers from the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic according to the press release. The Griffin’s is a division of Davidoff. The cigars are made at OK Cigars in the Dominican Republic.
