The first of the three 2016 Edición Limitadas will get its launch in Verona, Italy tomorrow, when the Romeo y Julieta Capuletos is officially released by Diadema S.p.A., the distributor of Habanos S.A. products in the country. Jose María López Inchaurbe, strategic marketing director of Habanos S.A., and Andrea Vincenzi, ceo of Diadema S.p.A. will be on hand for the event. The Capuletos measures 6 inches (153 mm) in length with a 53 ring gauge, a robusto extra vitola known as the Sobresalientes. It is a size that has been used for several Edición Regional releases, including the Bolívar 681 for Bulgaria in 2011, the Ramón Allones Sidon for Lebanon in 2013, the Por Larrañaga Sobresalientes for Great Britain in 2014 and the Punch Supremos for Switzerland in 2015. It was first used for the Partagás Sobresalientes in 2007 as part of a Réplica de Humidor Antiguo release. The Italian market will have a brief window of exclusivity on the cigar, as they will launch globally on Fri., Sept. 23.
