Add the Drew Dominicana to the list of cigars that have gotten quiet releases into the retail world, as this week Atlantic Cigar publicized the line’s availability in an email sent to customers. While little is known about the specifics of the Drew Dominicana, it’s a line with three wrapper options — shade, maduro and rosado — and it’s a long filler, non-infused cigar. The retailer says that all three wrapper options are very close in color and that they are said to be made in the Dominican Republic, but the factory has not been disclosed. In the maduro version, Atlantic Cigar lists a Churchill (7x 50, $8.50), Corona (5 3/4 x 46, $7.25), Robusto (5 x 54, $7.45) and Toro (6 x 52, $7.95). The shade option offers a Robusto (5 x 54, $7.75), Toro (6 x 52, $8.75), Churchill (7 x 50, $9) and Corona (5 3/4 x 46, $7.50), while the rosado option has just two sizes, a Robusto (5 x 54, $8.25), Toro (6 x 52, $8.75), Each size option comes in 20-count boxes, and a spokesperson for Atlantic Cigar told halfwheel that they received 20 boxes of each size and wrapper combination.
