Last year, Maya Selva Cigars celebrated its 20th anniversary with the release of a limited edition lancero; this year the company kept the party going with the release of the Flor de Selva Colección Aniversario Nº 20. While the line has been limited to distribution in France since it debuted in June, it will soon be available to the rest of Europe when the company will display it at the InterTabac trade show, which happens Sept. 16-18 in Dortmund, Germany. The line is a Honduran puro, with the wrapper coming from the Jamastrán region and the binders coming from the Olancho and Azacualpa regions. The specifics of the filler are not being disclosed, other than that it comes from Honduras. The Flor de Selva Colección Aniversario Nº 20 will be offered in four sizes, Egoïsta (3 1/2 x 56, €7.20); Petit-Corona (5 1/2 x 42, €6.90); Robusto (4 3/4 x 50, €8) and Tempo (6 x 60, €9.80). Each size comes in 10-count boxes and will become part of the company’s permanent collection. A company spokesperson told halfwheel that the line could also expand to Asia as well, though plans for a U.S. release are not being disclosed. Images courtesy of Maya Selva Cigars
