Las Cumbres Tabaco has three new lines coming to retail shelves, as the company has launched Señorial CT, Freyja Maduro and Freyja 12. The Señorial CT adds to José Blanco’s line, using an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Dominican piloto Cubano binder and Dominican piloto Cubano and criollo 98 fillers. The line is being released in four sizes, Dandy Corona (5 1/4 x 42), Lustrous Robusto (5 1/2 x 52), Glossy Toro (6 x 54) and Aureate (6 x 60), each in 24-count boxes and with single stick prices between $6.50 and $9.60. Emma Viktorsson will get two new lines; the first of which is the Freyja Nocturnal, which is wrapped in Connecticut broadleaf tobacco. Underneath that is a Mexican San Andrés binder along with Dominican criollo 98 and piloto Cubano fillers. For the names of the five vitolas, Viktorsson once again draws on Norse mythology, in particular the Yggdrasil tree, which is said to represent its nine worlds. The line will be offered in the Midgard Robusto (5 1/2 x 52), Bifröst (5 3/4 x 46, box pressed), Vanaheimr Toro (6 x 54), Asgard (6 x 60) and the Yggdrasil Lonsdale (6 1/4 x 44).
