Sosa Cigars has released a pair of new cigars that add a new spin to its Sosa Underground line and a new size to the Sosa Auric Perfectum line. The Sosa Underground Delphic Dual Wrapper is a barber pole with Ecuadorian candela and habano wrappers that cover an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan fillers. It is being released in a single 5 1/2 x 41 perfecto vitola with a tapered head and foot that get covered in the habano leaf. The cigar is being made at La Vega Cubana in Clearwater, Fla. by just two rollers, one of whom regularly works on the Underground line, and the other who was brought in just for this project. It sells for $10.50 per cigar and comes in 20-count boxes. Antillian Cigar Corporation has also announced a new lancero for its Sosa Auric Perfectum line. Measuring 7 1/2 x 38, the cigar is made at Tabacalera Aromas de Jalapa S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua and uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. It will sell for $7 per cigar and comes in 24-count boxes. Both new additions, as well as the recently announced Sosa Auric Perfectum Spiced line, are en route to retailers.
