HVC Cigars is back for another year, this time with a cigar named after the neighborhood where a famous Cuban pimp was killed and a new size for the popular La Rosa 520. I think this is a rare instance where a company noticeably decreased size and I sort of like the move. As will be discussed later on this week, spending excess money on booths seems to help no one. Perceptually a smaller booth means a busier booth and it certainly seems to have paid off for HVC. La Rosa 520 Reyes While it’s not a small ring gauge in the traditional sense, it is noticeably thinner than the 54 ring gauge the cigar previously has been offered in. This is a trade show exclusive meaning if your local store wasn’t at the show, this isn’t happening.
