IPCPR 2016: Crux Cigars

While Crux Cigars did add a new brand to its lineup, this year’s show was more about new blends using already existing lines. In addition, the company released its first IPCPR exclusive release, which was sold only to retailers who ordered product during the show. Crux Epicure The new line is named Epicure, after the famous Cuban vitola. The blend is a Nicaraguan puro utilizing a Connecticut wrapper with the binder and filler tobaccos hailing from various regions in Nicaragua. Epicure will be offered in three sizes — 5 x 50, 6 1/4 x 52 and 5 3/4 x 54 — all of which will be packaged in 10-count boxes that are scheduled to ship before the end of the year.
