Ventura Finalizes Archetype Series Before IPCPR 2016 Debut

Ventura Cigar Co. has been teasing an upcoming release known as Archetype, a collection of new cigars, and now the company has unveiled finalized details. Archetype is two sets of cigars, made by two different companies. The first is known as Series A, two lines coming from Oettinger Davidoff AG’s Occidental Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic and one from the company’s Agroindustria LAEPE S.A. factory in Honduras. Dreamstate and Sage Advice are the two Dominican lines. The first uses a “Dominican Connecticut” wrapper and is described as mild-medium. It’s offered in Robusto (5 x 52, $9.99), Toro (6 x 50, $10.99) and Churchill (7 x 48, $11.99). As for Sage Advice, it uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper and is available in Robusto (5 1/4 x 54, $10.99), Toro (6 x 52, $11.99) and Gordo (6 x 60, $12.99). Strange Passage is the Honduran line. It comes in three box-pressed sizes: Short Robusto (4 1/4 x 50, $8.99), Robusto (5 1/2 x 54, $10.49) and Toro (6 x 60, $12.49). There’s also Series B, which is being produced by Drew Estate and only available to Ventura’s VSR accounts. Initiation uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers.
