La Tradicion Cubana is bringing back one of the more popular cigars it made for another brand, but this time it will be under its own name. Santos de Miami, the extreme box pressed cigar previously made for Jameson Cigar Co., is a Dominican puro that will be released in three sizes, Haven (6 x 54, $8), Alma (5 x 46, $7) and Lancero (7 x 38, $7). The wrapper is a Dominican corojo leaf, while the binder is a Dominican corojo 98 and the filler contains Dominican corojo and criollo. Just like the original release, each size comes in 10-count boxes and is made at Tabacalera La Tradicion Cubana in the Dominican Republic. Luis Sanchez said that the relaunched Santos de Miami will be a regular production line that will begin heading to retailers shortly after the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which runs from July 25-28 in Las Vegas, Nev.
