Fratello Cigars Announces Oro as Third Blend

Fratello Cigars is growing its regular production portfolio with a new blend called Oro that will be released at the upcoming 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show. The new line marks the first time that Omar de Frias has used an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, something that he says gives the company a cigar that is mild to medium with a creamy aftertaste “but that also embodies the true nature of our company which is full flavor cigars.” Underneath that wrapper is a Cameroon binder with Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. Fratello Oro will come in six sizes, all in 20-count boxes and priced between $7 – $10 per cigar: Corona (5 1/2 x 47), Robusto (5 x 50), Robusto Extra (4 x 58), Toro (6 1/4 x 54), Gordo (6 x 60) and The Boxer Oro (6 1/4 x 52), which comes in a box pressed belicoso vitola. “We decided to take this project back to my homeland the Dominican Republic and work with La Aurora, one of the oldest cigar factories in the country,” de Frias noted.
