Nat Sherman has announced the first of its planned new cigars for the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, the Metropolitan Habano. The new line joins the Metropolitan Connecticut and Maduro offerings. The Habano is a Nicaraguan puro made at Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua. It will be offered in five sizes: Short Robusto (4 1/2 x 54, $5.50) Robusto Fino (5 x 46, $5) Robusto (5 1/2 x 56, $6.25) Toro (6 x 52, $6.75) and Gordo (6 x 60, $7.25). Each size comes in boxes of 18. “The Nat Sherman Metropolitan Habano is a very exciting blend that brings a ‘new world’ offering to a traditional series of premium cigars,” said Michael Herklots, vp of retail and brand development, in a press release. “Along with the introduction of the Habano blend, we’re updating the presentation of the original Metropolitan Connecticut and Metropolitan Maduro for a more consistent look and feel across the trio of Metropolitan Selection blends.
