Creve Coeur, Mo. Approves Smoking Ban

If you were planning on lighting up in the St. Louis, Mo. suburb of Creve Coeur, you’ll likely have to find a new place to do so as the city council passed a new outdoor smoking ban on Monday. The new ordinance creates a ban on smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes in all outdoor dining areas as well as other outdoor seating and service areas open to the public. Currently, the city bans smoking within 15 feet of the entry to any place of employment, including restaurants. Creve Coeur had a 2012 population estimate of 17,855 residents. It is located just over 14 miles west of St. Louis.
