Indianhead Cigars Revamps American Stogies for July Relaunch of War Hunter

Indianhead Cigars, which was acquired by José “Jochy” Blanco in October 2015,  is continuing its refresh of some of the brand’s older lines, and next week it will ship its latest update: American Stogies War Hunter. The revamped line uses a Cuban seed corojo wrapper from an undisclosed country, Honduran binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, with production handled by Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic. It’s being called a medium bodied, medium flavored cigar. Four sizes are being released, a 6 x 60 (MSRP $5.25), 6 1/2 x 63 ($5.75), 7 x 70 ($6.50) and the Little Hunters (4 1/4 x 34, $0.99). The line is being released in a tray format that allows all four sizes to be displayed next to each other in a compact retail footprint, with 12 of each of the three larger sizes and 36 of the Little Hunters and an MSRP of $210. The War Hunter isn’t being offered in boxes at this time, though each refill bundle contains 12 of the larger sizes and 36 of the Little Hunters.
