The once limited La Palina Mr. Sam is heading to regular production along with two additional sizes of the blend. In addition to the original size, a 4 3/4 x 54 robusto, a 6 x 50 toro and 5 1/2 x 42 corona will be added to the Mr. Sam line. While the company’s Goldie line is known for being made at El Titan de Bronze, the Mr. Sam was also made at the Miami-based factory. The regular release will remain at the factory and features the same blend: an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers. Due to production constraints at El Titan de Bronze, production will be ongoing, but still limited. Pricing is set at $11 for the corona, $12.50 for the robusto and $13.50 for the toro. The regular production release will come in 20-count boxes instead of the original 10. The cigars will first be available at the Texas Cigar Festival on April 12. La Palina is making 100 samplers that include two each of the three vitolas. The sampler will sell for $74.
