Steve Saka’s sophomore cigar has a name: Mi Querida. It translates to my mistress. While Saka declined to comment to halfwheel, he indicated on Facebook that his next cigar would be a broadleaf-wrapped cigar. At last year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, the broadleaf project was announced, albeit with the name Todos Las Días. That cigar was a project between Saka and Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA), the Estelí-based factory with ties to the Oliva Tobacco Co., who is widely-regarded as being one of the better tobacco companies when it comes to working with the material. In a Facebook comment, Saka stated there would be seven sizes. When he announced Todos Las Días, the plan called for seven sizes: Ancho Corto (5 x 54), Ancho Largo (6 x 54), Ancho Grande (7 x 54), Medio Corto (5 x 48), Media Largo (6 x 48), Fino Corto (5 x 42) and Fino Pequeno (4 x 44). Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust filed for a trademark on Mi Querida earlier this year.
