Last Thursday, Córdoba & Morales showed off its newest release, Finca Santa Fe. The 6 x 52 release is named after a farm in Cuba’s Pinar del Río region and named after Celestina Córdoba Morales, the grandmother of company’s co-founder Azarias Mustafa Córdoba. “Finca Santa Fe bears the name of the San Luis farm, nestled in Cuba’s famed Pinar del Río Province, where my grandmother Celestina Córdoba Morales was born,” said Córdoba, in a press release. “Much like the distinct strength, flavor and aroma of the tobaccos from this famed Cuban region, the Finca Santa Fe will deliver an unforgettable cigar experience reminiscent of the golden age of Cuban cigars. We thought this was a fitting way to celebrate not only my abuela’s birthday, but our company’s 5-year anniversary.” The cigar features a criollo 98 wrapper over an undisclosed filler blend. The company says the tobaccos were aged for one year in oak rum barrels. It is limited to 10,000 cigars split between 200 boxes of five and 800 boxes of 10. Suggested retail pricing is $20 per cigar. Each cigar is rolled by only one roller.
