The Cohiba Nicaragua line from General Cigar Co. will be getting its fifth vitola in the coming weeks, as the company is set to begin shipping the 4 3/16 x 36 Pequeños vitola to retailers in mid-May. While it’s the smallest vitola in the line, the company promises that it won’t be short on flavor, as it uses the same premium tobaccos found in the other sizes of Cohiba Nicaragua, a blend that includes a Honduran Jamastran Colorado oscuro wrapper over a Nicaraguan core, as the binder comes from Jalapa while the filler adds tobacco from Estelí. The result is a full flavored cigar with bold notes of spice and touches of sweetness.
