It’s not a huge secret that since 2013, Drew Estate has been working with tobacco grown in Florida by Jeff Borysiewicz, fermenting it in their Estelí, Nicaragua factory. Next month consumers will get their first taste of it at one of the company’s Barn Smoker events. Drew Estate announced the dates for its three Barn Smoker events today, which includes a June 4 event in Clermont, Fla., the site where Borysiewicz has been growing FSG tobacco. Included in the ticket price will be four of FSG cigars: a robusto, toro, belicoso and 6 x 60, as well as what’s being called a “special blend” released in a 6 x 52 box press and a Kentucky Fire Cured Yard Bird, the size that is only available at Barn Smoker events. Following the event, the FSG line will be officially released during an in-store event at Corona Cigar Co.’s Sand Lake location. Corona Cigar Co. is owned by Borysiewicz and his wife, Tanya. Specific sizes of the cigars as well as pricing and other information have yet to be disclosed by either Drew Estate or Corona Cigar Co.
