Next Monday, three new Viajes are scheduled to go out. First are a pair of Exclusivo Reservas, versions of the Exclusivo blend that used older tobaccos and then are aged for longer periods of time. This year, Exclusivo Reserva is being offered in two sizes: Robusto (5 x 54, $9.52) and Toro (6 x 52, $9.68). Both sizes are box-pressed and packaged in boxes of 25. While Viaje has done the Reserva concept with both its Oro and Platino lines, this is the first time an Exclusivo is getting the Reserva treatment. In addition, the company is releasing the 2016 version of Jalapeño. A spokesperson for the company confirmed that it is the same blend as last year, a blend it never disclosed, although the size is now listed as 4 7/8 x 50 instead of 51 ring gauge as last years. Pricing remains $8.56 per cigar or $214 per box of 25. All three cigars are being produced at Raíces Cubanas in Honduras. A spokesperson also declined to disclose production numbers.
