Cornelius & Anthony Premium Cigars has released its second regular production line of cigars, Daddy Mac, which is a tribute to Steven Bailey’s father Mac Bailey. Daddy Mac uses a Brazilian wrapper, Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan fillers, with production handled by the La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It is debuting in four sizes, Gordo (6 x 60, $11), Toro (6 x 50, $10), Robusto (5 x 50, $9) and Corona Gorda (5 1/2 x 46, $8.50). All four sizes come in 20-count boxes and are scheduled to begin shipping next week. A press release issued by Cornelius & Anthony describes the cigar medium-to-full bodied with “a layered complexity of sweetness and spice that dances on the palate. This beautifully crafted blend has a superior balance of flavor.” The release of the Daddy Mac will give Cornelius & Anthony two new cigars on retailers shelves this month, as it released its first line, Cornelius, last week.
