Phil Zanghi, best known for his Debonaire and Indian Motorcycle lines, has announced a new project that he is helping bring to market, Cattle Baron Cigars. The new line is a collaboration with Bryan Mussard, a cattle producer from Dillon, Mont. that Zanghi was introduced to by his partner, Danny Sinclair, who also happens to be a producer of wagyu. Mussard is not only a cigar smoker and successful rancher, but three years ago created Gorgeous Vodka, which offers a gluten free, cranberry tea flavored vodka that is made to pair with cigars. Cattle Baron Cigars uses a Nicaraguan habano wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It is being released as a regular production line in four sizes: Cowboy’s (4 1/2 x 44, $6.25), Stockyard’s (5 x 52, $6.75), Bull’s (4 1/2 x 58, $7.25) and Trail Boss’s (6 x 54, $7.75). Each size comes in 20-count boxes. The De Los Reyes factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic is producing the cigars, the same factory that Zanghi uses for Debonaire and Indian Motorcycle.
