The limited edition cigar was made to celebrate Chogüí’s first anniversary, which took place in November. It uses a Dominicana HVA wrapper, Dominicana criollo 98 binder and Dominican fillers including habano 2020. All but the latter are components from the company’s first release, the Primera Edición. It is not executed to be formally released in the U.S. although Chogüí founder Victor Nicolás told halfwheel he is planning on releasing a cigar to celebrate one year of availability in the U.S., which began coincidentally in November of last year.
