Black Label Trading Co.’s Redemption line is no more, as the company confirmed to halfwheel today that the line has been discontinued. The cause for the deletion was that the company didn’t feel comfortable in the prospects of securing the line’s Nicaraguan maduro wrapper, and as such decided it was best to delete the line from its portfolio. The blend also uses Nicaraguan binder and filler and was made at the company’s Fabrica de Oveja Negra factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It was one of the company’s core lines of cigars, though production had been limited to just 1,000 boxes per year. Five sizes were made in the line, a robusto and robusto box press (5 x 54), toro (6 x 54), gran toro and gran toro box press (6 x 60). No other products are being deleted at this time.
