Smokin’ Joe’s in Alcoa, Tenn. has announced that they will be receiving a store exclusive size of LUJ Cigars’ Kuro, a 6 x 46 corona gorda that is expected to be available in April. Cody Hicks, general manager of Smokin’ Joe’s and Old City Cigar, told halfwheel that while the entire line of LUJ Cigars has been selling very well, the Kuro is something special. “We sold three boxes of Kuro in about 30 minutes,” he said, adding that it was then he knew it would make sense to bring in a special size for his customers. “It’s one of the better cigars I’ve ever smoked,” he noted. Just 50 boxes of 10 cigars are being produced for a small run of 500 sticks. The LUJ Kuro Corona Gorda comes with an MSRP of $24 per cigar and $240 per box, though the store is offering a $15 discount during a pre-sale launched today on Smokin’ Joe’s website and in their physical stores.
