Perdomo Ships Factory Tour Blend

At the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Perdomo showed off the Factory Tour Blend. Now, it’s finally heading to U.S. retailers. The Factory Tour Blend was inspired, as the name suggests, by Perdomo’s 15 years of factory tours. The company says that Aristides Garcia, one of the factory’s long-time managers, oftentimes rolls special cigars for guests that tour its Nicaraguan factory. Oftentimes, they ask if the blend rolled will ever come to market. While it’s unclear how close any of the three blends being released are to what Garcia rolls, the idea behind the cigar is very clear. It’s being released in Connecticut, Maduro and Sun Grown form. The Connecticut uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a binder from Jalapa, Nicaragua and fillers from Estelí, Nicaragua. As for the Maduro, it uses a Nicaraguan maduro wrapper, binder from Condega, Nicaragua and fillers from Estelí. The Sun Grown uses a wrapper from Jalapa, binder from Condega and fillers from Estelí. All there cigars come in Robusto (5 x 52), Toro (6 x 52), Torpedo (6 1/2 x 54) and Churchill (7 x 52). Pricing is set between $6-7.50 and all cigars come in boxes of 24.
