While new legislation being proposed in St. Paul, Minn. is centered around keeping flavored tobacco out of the hands of children, the city is also suggesting a new minimum price for cigars. Next month the St. Paul City Council will consider a proposal to limit the sale of flavored tobacco products to adults-only tobacco stores as well as a minimum price of $2.60 for a cigar. The proposal is scheduled to get its first reading on Dec. 2, according to KSTP-TV. St. Paul is the capitol of Minnesota and its second largest city with a population of nearly 295,000 people.
