Expect to see the new look Espinosa Habano at your local retailers in the coming days, as the company released the first shipments late this week. The cigar was on display at the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show in July, where the company showed off two new sizes, a slight change to the blend and a refreshed look for the line. The new vitolas include the No. 4 (5 1/2 x 50, $6.75) and No. 8 (6 1/8 x 58, $7.50), while the the No. 5 (6 x 52, $6.90) is maintained. All use an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler with production handled by Espinosa’s La Zona Cigar Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Espinosa Habano was one of the first brands to be produced by Erik Espinosa in 2012 after the EO Brands split. The limited edition Espinosa Habano Corona was reviewed on halfwheel in August 2013 and reduxed in September 2014.
