Maya Selva Cigars has announced the Flor de Selva Lancero, a cigar made in honor of the company’s 20th anniversary, has begun shipping. The Flor de Selva Lancero measures 7 x 38 and keeps the Honduran puro nature of the line, but each vitola in the line has its own distinct blend as opposed to a minor tweak. It uses a Connecticut-seed wrapper, habano binder from the Jamastrán valley and Trojes viso and Jamastrán ligero in the filler. A total of 20,000 cigars have been produced, but only 5,000 will be sold in the U.S. The Flor de Selva Lancero is offered in 10-count boxes with pricing set at $15 per cigar. Like the rest of the company’s lines, the cigar is made Tabacos de Oriente in Danlí, Honduras.
