I generally feel like I have a good idea of what’s supposed to be shown off at the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, at least for most companies. That was the case with Miami Cigar & Co., but halfway through my booth visit, it seemed clear that that wasn’t the case. While there wasn’t a ton new from Miami Cigar & Co.’s own brands, the additions from the brands it distributes—La Aurora, Viva Republic and HF Barcelona—along with another potential distribution agreement made for a busy booth. La Aurora Puro Vintage Master Series While the Puro Vintage 2006 has been on sale for a few months, the company will be releasing 500 Master Series cases that include a box of three different sizes—Preferido No.1, Salomon and Toro—this October. it’s limited to 500 units and has a retail price of $1,000. The Master Series first appeared as an auction item at this year’s Procigar. La Aurora Untamed Xtreme The new release from La Aurora is likely to land in October. it uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, Dominican binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler.
