Once again, Guayacan was consistently busy, only finally allowing me some of Noel Rojas’ time first thing in the morning on Day 4. While all of Rojas’ lines were displayed, it was just one box that had his new offering. Guayacan Rojas Reserve The new cigar that Rojas had was his Rojas Reserve. It’s a Nicaraguan puro with a dark maduro wrapper that comes in two sizes—the 6 x 60 Gordo retailing for $6.25 and the 6 x 70 Super Gordo retailing for $6.50 with each coming in boxes of 20. Rojas told me he knew that wasn’t everybody’s favorite size, however he mentioned that it was specifically blended for that size and was well balanced for such a large ring gauge. Rojas said these should be shipping sometime in August. Guayacan is distributed by House of Emilio.
